Have you ever been to a Star Trek convention? Did you ever sit in your seat, watch the crowd and imagine all the ‘red shirts’ turning into zombies, or worse, everyone but you? Well Kevin David Anderson and Sam Stall must have had weird thoughts like that. They co-wrote Night of the Living Trekkies, published by Quirk books.
And guess what. It goes on sale TODAY!
There’s also a Facebook page, (but of course) and everyone that signs up as a FAN gets entered into a contest to win…
* Grand Prize: Two Troublesome Tribbles, an unofficial Trekkies t-shirt plus a signed copy of Night of the Living Trekkies.
* Two Runners-Up: An unofficial Trekkies t-shirt and a copy of Night of the Living Trekkies.
And I, StarTrekFinds, got my own copy to review. How cool is that? As part of my getting to preview the book “Night of the Living Trekkies” I also got a copy to give away!
Want to get your own? Here’s what you do.
* Leave a comment on this post telling me where you will keep this book. (bedside table, bookshelf between Stephen King’s It & Alan Dean Foster’s Into the Out of, backpack.. … …
* Winner will be drawn at random.
* Deadline for entry into the contest is ten days from now (September 17, 2010.)
* Drawing will be held the following day (September 18, 2010)

I will keep this in my bookcase
I am just going to keep the book on the shelf over my PC screen. Nothing fancy, but it still has space!
“Space’….. cute!
Should I win, I will display this book in my Trek ’shrine’ (after I read it, of course!)…right next to some ‘zombie-fied’ action figures!!! LOL
You should see the ’shrine’ here. ST is everywhere…
the book will still rotate around my head
The book will sit on my bookshelf. Not my general bookshelf, but the special bookshelf filled with Zombie literature. This book will sit between “Patient Zero” by Johnathan Mayberry and “Day by Day Armageddon” by J. L. Bourne. It will sit so everyone can see the new book and admire it’s awesomeness. I will aim one of my potlights in its general direction to highlight it.
It’s going into a box under my bed.
I have my most recent buys there.
I think I have to buy a new house and leave this one to my books!
Somewhere hidden so my brother doesn’t get his dirty hands on it!
I am just thinking of memorizing it and then burning so no one else around here can ever read!
It’s all mine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PS – Just joking of course.
I am going to keep it over my brain!
I will keep it near to my heart!
On the shelf for peculiar literature, which is a way to justify my buying of books relating to my old pop culture habits!
I think I will put this next to my Star Trek DVD seasons.
It deserves to be near them.
After I read it, I will send it into space and wait for it’s orbit to make it return to Earth.
Then I re-read it and send it back into space…
My bookshelves are very naked!
No problem to store this book, I even need more stuff!
