Free Medical Onboard

Sunday, January 29th, 2012

Ever wonder ‘how’ the medical service actually works on board the Enterprise?

I mean, is it all just ‘free’? Part of your employment?

Is there a limit?

Does someone decide that it isn’t cost effective to run across the galaxy to look for a cure, for one person?

Who does the paperwork?

You never see any paperwork. Sure, there are a few ‘tablet’s on later shows, but who compiles it? Turns it into ‘headquarters’? Do they use some kind of medical billing services for outsiders/aliens or is that free too?

Collaborative Brainstorming

Saturday, January 21st, 2012

There’s a new way to ‘work together’ and it’s called Qikpad.

This handy online tool allows multiple people to all log in and work on the same project.

Now, while I wouldn’t utilize this for proprietary works, Or the formula for transparent aluminum, I can certainly see where this site would work for many a collaborative effort.

Collaborative brainstorming at it’s best!

Have you ever noticed that sometimes the coolest gadgets come from a site outside the US?

They do!

Take this for instance.

It looked a little foreign to me at first, then I realized it was a little stove. One that you’d probably carry with you while out backpacking, camping, or visiting an alien planet… (lol)

I found this fold flat design pocket stock at an Irish gadgets review website

So, Danny Boy, get out of your neighborhood (even if it’s just a virtual neighborhood) expand your universe. There’s a whole world of ’stuff’ out there to discover.
